Meet Our Founder, Matt Iwama

Masterpiece Properties, LLC in Kent, WA has maintained our solid reputation through the years because of our founder and real estate broker, Matt Iwama, placing us at the forefront of the area’s real estate market. Matt emigrated from Japan in 1981. He was thoroughly convinced that life in the USA offered the values and virtues he desired. After deciding to make America his new home, Matt started a small construction company in 1984. He built homes until 2007. Matt's main business was land development and construction of new homes. He spent his entire working life in the construction and real estate industries as a market participant.

Providing Practical Real Estate Knowledge

Matt believes that what he needs to know in life cannot be learned or taught in school. He offers a range of life and work experiences as a builder and developer as well as a former mortgage and real estate broker. These are pertinent to his clients’ needs and allow him to give more than textbook answers.
